Dehydrated mushrooms are an essential addition to any pantry. They offer deep, concentrated flavor and a long shelf life, without taking up fridge space or spoiling. Choose from our range of premium shiitake and oyster mushrooms - cleanly sliced, thoroughly dried, and packaged for maximum convenience and use across countless recipes.
If you cook regularly or want to stock your kitchen with practical, long-lasting ingredients, dehydrated mushrooms deliver outstanding value in a small package.
What You’re Getting
Each pack contains 100% pure mushrooms—no fillers, no salt, no preservatives, and no other ingredients. These mushrooms are simply sliced and dehydrated, ready to use straight from the bag or after a quick soak in water.
Our Varieties:
-
Oyster – Mild, slightly nutty, and great for pasta dishes, egg-based recipes, or vegetable medleys.
-
Lion’s Mane – Soft, tender texture with a mild, seafood-like flavour. Excellent for slicing, pan-frying, or using as a meat alternative.
- Shiitake – Full-bodied, savory, and earthy. Excellent in broths, noodle dishes, stir-fries, and stews.
-
Chestnut – Firm and nutty with a deeper, earthier taste than white button mushrooms. Holds texture well in stir-fries and roasts.
-
Enoki – Delicate, thin-stemmed mushrooms with a subtle, slightly sweet taste. Ideal for soups, hot pots, or light sautés.
They’re dried at peak condition to preserve taste, color, and texture while massively increasing shelf life.
How to Rehydrate and Cook
Direct cooking tip: You can also throw dried mushrooms straight into simmering stews or slow-cooked dishes. They'll rehydrate during the cooking process, absorb surrounding flavors and release theirs.
To rehydrate:
-
Place mushrooms in a bowl.
-
Cover with warm (not boiling) water.
-
Let soak for 15–20 minutes.
-
Strain and use as you would fresh mushrooms.
The water used for soaking becomes a rich, mushroom-infused broth. It can be added directly to soups, gravies, risottos, or even used as a base for sauces and marinades. It’s packed with natural umami and shouldn’t go to waste.
Everyday Cooking Uses
Dehydrated mushrooms are versatile. They can be used anywhere you’d use fresh mushrooms—often with a more intense flavor. They work across multiple cuisines and cooking styles:
-
Soups & Stocks – Use mushrooms and soaking water to build a flavor-packed broth.
-
Risottos & Pastas – Mix into creamy sauces or blend into tomato-based dishes.
-
Stir-Fries – A quick soak and they’re ready for hot oil and your favorite sauces.
-
Egg Dishes – Omelets, frittatas, and quiches benefit from their chewy, savory bite.
-
Pizza Toppings – A few slices add a powerful punch to any base.
-
Freeze-Dried Meals or Camping Kits – Lightweight, long shelf life, and no cooling needed.

Turn Into Mushroom Powder
You can also grind dried mushrooms into a powder for even more flexibility. This powder stores well and adds bold umami flavor to everything from gravies and sauces to dry rubs and meat blends.
How to use mushroom powder:
-
Stir into soups and stocks as a seasoning
-
Mix into burger patties or meatloaf for depth
-
Combine with salt and herbs for a dry rub
-
Add to pasta dough, stuffing, or bread mix
This powder form is a low-effort, high-impact way to upgrade flavor without changing texture or prep time.
Storage & Shelf Life
Dried mushrooms are built for long-term storage. With no refrigeration required, they stay shelf-stable for 12–18 months under normal conditions.
Storage tips:
-
Keep sealed until ready for use. Store in a dry, dark place away from moisture
-
If exposed to humidity, dry again in a low oven (~50–60°C) until crisp
They don’t spoil easily and won’t take up valuable space in your fridge or freezer. Ideal for bulk storage, food security, or kitchens that prioritize low-waste, high-value ingredients.
Practical Advantages Over Fresh
Fresh mushrooms are over 90% water, have a short shelf life, and lose texture fast. Dehydrated mushrooms are lighter, smaller, and far more versatile.
Why choose dehydrated?
-
Longer shelf life
-
More flavor per gram
-
No refrigeration
-
Portion control—use only what you need
-
No spoilage or slime like with fresh mushrooms in plastic tubs
They’re especially useful for meal preppers, home cooks, food storage setups, and professional kitchens alike.
Portion & Yield
-
1 gram of dried mushrooms yields approx. 10 grams after rehydration
-
10–15 grams of dried mushrooms is enough for a standard dish serving 2–3 people
You get a powerful ingredient with high return on volume. Small quantities go a long way.
Straightforward Ingredient. No Nonsense.
This product is as clean and direct as it gets—100% sliced, dehydrated mushrooms with nothing added and nothing taken away. Whether you're prepping meals for the week, cooking in bulk, or building out your dry storage, these mushrooms give you the flavor and flexibility you need without unnecessary extras.
