How to Rehydrate and Cook

Direct cooking tip: You can also throw dried mushrooms straight into simmering stews or slow-cooked dishes. They'll rehydrate during the cooking process, absorb surrounding flavors and release theirs.

To rehydrate:

  1. Place mushrooms in a bowl.

  2. Cover with warm (not boiling) water.

  3. Let soak for 15–20 minutes.

  4. Strain and use as you would fresh mushrooms.
